حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ الَأوْدِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ قَالُوا ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ لَيْلَى عَنْ مَوْلَاتِهَا قَالَتْ

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِفَاكِهَةٍ أَوْ طَعَامٍ فَاعْتَزَلَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ فَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا لَهُمْ؟ قُلْتُ إِنَّهُمْ صِيَامٌ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ صَائِمٍ يَأْكُلُ عِنْدَهُ قَوْمٌ مُفْطِرُونَ إِلَّا صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to see me, and I brought him some fruit or food. Some of the people withdrew and did not eat. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What is the matter with them?" I said, "They are fasting." He said, "No fasting person has people who are not fasting eat in his presence except that the angels send blessings upon them until evening."
