حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا رَآنِي قَالَ «سَلِفِي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَسَلِفِي فِي الْآخِرَةِ»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Yaḥyá b. ʿUthmān b. Ṣāliḥ
  2. Sulaymān b. Ayyūb from my father from my father
  3. Mūsá b. Ṭalḥah from his father

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ saw me, he would say: “My predecessor in this world and my predecessor in the Hereafter.”
