حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَذُوعِيُّ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ غُصَيْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ بُسْرٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ عَكَّافُ بْنُ وَدَاعَةَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا عَكَّافُ لَكَ زَوْجَةٌ؟ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَا أَبْرَحُ حَتَّى تُزَوِّجَنِي مَنْ شِئْتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ زَوَّجْتُكَ عَلَى اسْمِ اللهِ وَالْبَرَكَةِ كَرِيمَةَ بِنْتَ كُلْثُومٍ الْحِمْيَرِيَّةَ

✧ ʿAkkāf b. Wadāʿah came to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said, “O ʿAkkāf, do you have a wife?” He replied, “O Messenger of God, I will not leave until you marry me to whomever you wish.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “I have married you, in the name of God and with blessing, to Karīmah bt. Kulthūm al-Ḥimyarīyah.”
