حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الثُّمَالِيِّ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ

دَخَلَ عَلِيَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «عِنْدَكِ شَيْءٌ؟» قُلْتُ لَا إِلَّا كِسَرٌ يَابِسَةٌ وَخَلٌّ فَقَالَ «مَا أَفْقَرَ أَهْلَ بَيْتٍ مِنْ أُدْمٍ فِيهِ خَلٌّ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered upon me and said, 'Do you have anything?' I said, 'No, except dry pieces of bread and vinegar.' He said, 'No household is poor that has vinegar as a condiment.'
