✧ Abu Salih, servant of Umm Hanee', narrates from Umm Hanee'

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَالِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا جُنَادَةُ بْنُ سَلْمٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي مُرَّةَ مَوْلَى أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَهِيَ أُخْتُ عَلِيٍّ لِأَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ تَقُولُ «دَخَلَ عَلِيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ»

✧ I heard Umm Haniʾ bt. Abi Talib—who was ʿAli’s full sister on both her father’s and mother’s side—say: “The Messenger of God ﷺ entered upon me on the day of the conquest, performed ghusl, then prayed eight rakʿahs.”
