حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ مَوْلَى الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ

«أَنَّ أَبَا حُذَيْفَةَ بْنَ عُتْبَةَ ذَهَبَ بِهَا وبِأُخْتِها هِنْدٍ تُبايِعانِ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ» فَلَمَّا اشْتَرَطَ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَالَتْ هِنْدٌ أَوَ تَعْلَمُ فِي نِسَاءِ قَوْمِكَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْهِناتِ وَالْعَاهَاتِ شَيْئًا؟ فَقَالَ أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ بايِعِيهِ فَهَكَذَا تُشْتَرَطُ

Translation

✧ "Abu Hudhayfah b. Utbah went with her and her sister Hind to pledge allegiance to the Messenger of God ﷺ." When he stipulated conditions upon them, Hind said, "Or do you know of any of these faults and blemishes among the women of your people?" Abu Hudhayfah said, "Pledge allegiance to him, for thus are the conditions stipulated."
