al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 21353

✧ Fatimah daughter of Hamza son of Abd al-Muttalib is nicknamed Umm al-Fadl, and it is also said that her name is Ummamah, and it is also said to be Umarah.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ عَنْ جَعْدَةَ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

أَهْدَى إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حُلَّةً مُسَيَّرَةً بِحَرِيرٍ فَقَالَ لِي «اجْعَلْهَا خُمُرًا بَيْنَ الْفَوَاطِمِ» فَشَقَقْتُ مِنْهَا ثَلَاثَةَ أَخْمِرَةً خِمَارًا لِفَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ أَسَدٍ وَخِمَارًا لِفَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَخِمَارًا لِفَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ حَمْزَةَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gifted me a striped silk garment and told me, “Make it into veils among the Fatimahs.” So I tore from it three veils: a veil for Fatimah bt. Asad, a veil for Fatimah bt. Muhammad ﷺ, and a veil for Fatimah bt. Hamza.
