حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ السَّقَطِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ يَعْنِي الْوَاسِطِيَّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَبَّلَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ مَظْعُونٍ عَلَى خَدِّهِ بَعْدَمَا مَاتَ وَلَا يُعْلَمُ قَبَّلَ أَحَدًا غَيْرَهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ kissed ʿUthman b. Mazʿun on his cheek after he had died, and it is not known that he kissed anyone other than him.
