حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ أُمِّ دَاوُدَ الْوَابِشِيَّةِ عَنْ سَلَّامَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُرِّ قَالَتْ
مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بُدُوِّ الْإِسْلَامِ وَأَنَا أَرْعَى فَقَالَ «يَا سَلَّامَةُ بِمَ تَشْهَدِينَ؟» قُلْتُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ passed by me in the early days of Islam while I was tending sheep. He said, “O Salāma, what do you testify?” I said, “I testify that there is no god but God and that Muḥammad is the Messenger of God.” He smiled, laughing.
