حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ حَدَّثَتْنَا عَلِيلَةُ بِنْتُ الْكُمَيْتِ عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَمَةِ اللهِ بِنْتِ رُزَيْنَةَ عَنْ أُمِّهَا رُزَيْنَةَ قَالَتْ

لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ قُرَيْظَةَ وَالنَّضِيرِ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِصَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَيٍّ وذِرَاعُها فِي يَدِهِ فَلَمَّا رَأَتِ السَّبْيَ قَالَتْ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ «فَأَرْسَلَ ذِرَاعَهَا مِنْ يَدِهِ وَأَعْتَقَهَا وَخَطَبَها وَتَزَوَّجَهَا وَأَمْهَرَهَا رُزَيْنَةَ»

✧ On the day of Qurayzah and al-Nadir, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came with Safiyyah bt. Huyayy, holding her by the arm. When she saw the captives, she said, “I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that you are the Messenger of Allah.” So he released her arm from his hand, freed her, proposed to her, and married her, giving her as her dowry Ruzaynah.
