حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ قَالَتْ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَأْتِينَا فَآخُذُ مِيضَأَةً لَنَا قَدْرَ مُدٍّ وَنِصْفٍ أَوْ مُدٍّ وَثُلُثٍ فَأَسْكُبُ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَاءِ فَيَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَيَتَمَضْمَضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ وَيَغْسِلُ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَمْسَحُ بِرَأْسِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to come to us. I would take a water vessel of ours holding a mudd and a half, or a mudd and a third, and pour water over him. He would wash his hands three times, rinse his mouth, inhale water, wash his face three times, wipe his head twice, then wash his feet three times, three times.
