حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ الطَّحَّانُ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو صَخْرٍ أَنَّ يُحَنَّسَ أَبَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ الدَّرْدَاءِ حَدَّثَتْهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَقِيَهَا يَوْمًا فَقَالَ «مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتِ يَا أُمَّ الدَّرْدَاءِ؟» قَالَتْ مِنَ الْحَمَّامِ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ تَنْزِعُ ثِيَابَهَا فِي غَيْرِ بَيْتِهَا إِلَّا هَتَكَتْ مَا بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللهِ مِنْ سِتْرٍ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ met her one day and said, “From where have you come, O Umm al-Darda’?” She said, “From the bathhouse.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said to her, “No woman removes her garments in other than her own house except that she has torn the veil between her and God.”
