✧ The Greenery of the Prophet's Servant ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَمُجَمِّعِ ابْنِي يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ عَنْ خَنْسَاءَ بِنْتِ خِدَامٍ

«أَنَّ أَبَاهَا زَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ ثَيِّبٌ فَكَرِهَتْ ذَلِكَ فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَرَدَّ نِكَاحَهُ»

✧ Her father married her off while she was a previously married woman, and she disliked that. She went to the Prophet ﷺ, and he rejected the marriage.
