حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الْعَبْسِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ عَنْ أُخْتِ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَتْ

قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ أَمَا لَكُنَّ فِي الْفِضَّةِ مَا تَحَلَّيْنَهُ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ تَحَلَّى ذَهَبًا فَتُظْهِرُهُ إِلَّا عُذِّبَتْ بِهِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ stood among us, praised God, and extolled Him. Then he said: “O assembly of women, is there not for you in silver what you may adorn yourselves with? Indeed, there is no woman who adorns herself with gold and displays it except that she will be punished with it.”
