al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 21077

✧ Khawlah bt. Hakim b. Umayah b. Harithah b. al-Auqas b. Marrah b. Hilal As-Sulamiyyah "The Wife of Uthman b. Mazh'un, and she was among those who dedicated themselves to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ حَكِيمٍ

أَنَّهَا اسْتَفْتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ هَلْ عَلَيْهَا غُسْلٌ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ إِذَا رَأَتِ الْمَاءَ»

✧ She asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a ruling about a woman who sees in her dream what a man sees: Is ghusl obligatory upon her? He said: “Yes, if she sees the fluid.”
