حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ أَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ سَنُوطَا قَالَ كَانَتْ أُمُّ مُحَمَّدٍ امْرَأَةُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ تُحَدِّثُ قَالَتْ
دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ فَذَكَرُوا الْأمَاراتِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ فَمَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا بَارَكَ اللهُ لَهُ فِيهَا وَرُبَّ مُتَخَوِّضٍ فِي مَالِ اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فِيمَا اشْتَهَتْ نَفْسُهُ لَهُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon Hamzah, and they mentioned worldly matters. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Indeed the world is green and sweet; so whoever takes it by its right, Allah will bless him in it, and many a one plunges into the wealth of Allah and His Messenger in whatever his soul craves — for him is the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.”
