حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْياطِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ ثنا الْهِقْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ

عَنْ بُسْرَةَ بِنْتِ صَفْوَانَ الْكِنانِيَّةِ وَكَانَتْ خَالَةُ مَرْوَانَ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ عَلَى إِحْدَانَا الْوُضُوءُ إِذَا مَسَّتْ فَرْجَهَا؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ فَعَلَيْهِ الْوُضُوءُ»

✧ From Busrah bint Safwan al-Kinaniyyah—and she was Marwan’s maternal aunt—she said: I asked the Messenger of God ﷺ, saying: O Messenger of God, is ablution required for any of us if she touches her private part? The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Whoever touches his private part, whether among men or women, ablution is required upon him.”
