حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جَابِرِ بْنِ الْبُحْتُرِيُّ الطَّائِيُّ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يَقُولُ ذَكَرَ مَرْوَانُ
أَنَّهُ يُتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ مَسِّ الذَّكَرِ إِذَا أَفْضَى إِلَيْهِ الرَّجُلُ بِيَدِهِ فَأَنْكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ فَقُلْتُ لَا وُضُوءَ عَلَى مَنْ مَسَّهُ فَقَالَ مَرْوَانُ أَخْبَرَتْنِي بُسْرَةُ بِنْتُ صَفْوَانَ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَذْكُرُ مَا يُتَوَضَّأُ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «وَيُتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ مَسِّ الذَّكَرِ» قَالَ عُرْوَةُ «فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أُمَارِي مَرْوَانَ حَتَّى دَعَا رَجُلًا مِنْ حَرَسِهِ فَأَرْسَلَهُ إِلَى بُسْرَةَ يَسْأَلُهَا عَمَّا حَدَّثَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِ بُسْرَةُ بِمِثْلِ الَّذِي حَدَّثَنِي عَنْهُ»

✧ That ablution is required due to touching the penis when a man reaches it with his hand. I denied that and said: No ablution is required for the one who touches it. Marwan said: Busrah bint Safwan informed me that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioning what ablution is required from, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'And ablution is required from touching the penis.' Urwah said: 'I kept disputing with Marwan until he called a man from his guard and sent him to Busrah to ask her about what she had narrated regarding that. Busrah sent to him the same as what he had narrated to me from her.'
