حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَذُوعِيُّ ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَظَرَ إِلَى بَنِيهَا بَنِي جَعْفَرٍ فَقَالَ «مَا لِأَجْسَامِهِمْ ضَارِعَةً» فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ الْعَيْنَ تُسْرِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ أَفَأَرْقِيهِمْ؟ قَالَ «بِمَاذَا؟» فَعَرَضَتْ عَلَيْهِ كَلَامًا لَيْسَ بِهِ بَأْسٌ فَقَالَ «ارْقِيهِمْ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ looked at her sons, the sons of Ja'far, and said, "Why are their bodies so thin?" She said, "The evil eye afflicts them quickly; should I perform ruqyah for them?" He said, "With what?" She presented words that had no harm, and he said, "Perform ruqyah for them."
