حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ أَنَّهَا أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِابْنَيْ جَعْفَرٍ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَاتَلُوا ابْنَيْ أَخِيكَ قَالَ «فَاسْتَرْقِ لَهُمَا»

✧ Al-Qa'nabi reported that 'Isa ibn Yunus narrated from 'Ubaydullah ibn Abi Ziyad, who narrated from Mujahid, who narrated from Asma bint 'Umais, that she came to the Prophet ﷺ with the two sons of Ja'far. She said, "The people have killed the sons of your brother." He said, "Cover them for them."
