حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ثنا خَالِدٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ اسْتُحِيضَتْ مُنْذُ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَلَمْ تُصَلِّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ هَذَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ لِتَجْلِسَ فِي مِرْكَنٍ فَإِذَا رَأَتْ صَفَارَةً فَوْقَ الْمَاءِ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ لِلظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا وَتَغْتَسِلْ لِلْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ غُسْلًا ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأْ فِيمَا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ»

✧ I said, "O Messenger of Allah, Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh has been suffering from istihadah for such-and-such a time and has not prayed." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Glory be to Allah! This is from Satan. Let her sit in a tub, and when she sees a yellowish tinge above the water, let her perform one ghusl for Zuhr and Asr, and one ghusl for Maghrib and Isha, and perform wudu in between."
