حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ هَذَا الدُّبَّاءُ فَقُلْتُ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ هَذَا؟ فَقَالَ «هَذَا الدُّبَّاءُ هَذَا الْقَرْعُ نُكْثِرُ بِهِ طَعَامَنَا»

✧ I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ while he had this gourd, so I said: What is this? He said: "This is gourd; this is squash. We use it to increase our food."
