حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ

أَنَّ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ كَانَتْ تُؤْتَى بِالْمَرْأَةِ الْمَوْعُوكَةِ قَدْ حُمَّتْ تَدْعُو لَهَا أَخَذْتِ الْمَاءَ فَصَبَّتْهُ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ جَنْبِهَا وَقَالَتْ «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تُبْرِدَهَا بِالْمَاءِ»

✧ Asma’ bt. Abi Bakr would be brought a feverish woman who was ill, she would pray for her, take water, and pour it between her and her sides, and she said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded her to cool it with water.”
