حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ

عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدِ اللهِ أَوْ عَبْدِ اللهِ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّهَا أَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْهِ جُبَّةً طَيَالِسَةً مِنْ دِيبَاجٍ فَقَالَتْ «هَذِهِ جُبَّةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا قُبِضَ كَانَتْ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ فَلَمَّا قُبِضَتْ عَائِشَةُ أَخَذْتُهَا فَهِيَ عِنْدِي تَغْسِلُهَا لِلْمَرِيضِ يُسْتَشْفَى بِهَا»

✧ From Abu ʿUbayd Allah or ʿAbd Allah, the freedman of Asmaʾ bt. Abi Bakr, that she brought out to him a jubbah of Tayalisa fabric made of silk brocade and said: “This is the jubbah of the Messenger of God ﷺ. When he passed away, it was with ʿAʾishah; when ʿAʾishah passed away, I took it, and it is with me. She used to wash it for the sick, seeking healing through it.”
