حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا كَانَتْ نُبُوَّةٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا كَانَ بَعْدَهَا قَتْلٌ وَصَلْبٌ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “There has never been prophethood except that after it came killing and crucifixion.”
