حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زُغْبَةَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي نَحْوَ الرُّكْنِ بَعْدَ أَنْ أُمِرَ يَصْدَعُ بِمَا أُمِرَ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ {فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ} وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ يَسْمَعُونَ

Translation

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ while he was praying toward the corner, after he was commanded to proclaim openly what he was commanded, and he was reciting: "{So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?}" while the polytheists were listening.
