حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ ثنا خَالِدٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَقُومُ مِنْ بَعْدِي اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا» ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ بِشَيْءٍ لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ فَسَأَلْتُ الْقَوْمَ وَسَأَلْتُ أَبِي مَا قَالَ؟ وَكَانَ أَقْرَبَ إِلَيْهِ مِنِّي فَقَالَ «كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There will be twelve leaders after me." Then he spoke something that I did not hear, so I asked the people and I asked my father what he said? And he was closer to him than me, so he said, "All of them are from Quraysh."
