Safiyyah b. Huyay b. Akhtab, Wife of the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا صَفْوَانُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْمُرْهِبِيِّ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَنْتَهِي النَّاسُ مِنْ غَزْوِ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ حَتَّى يَغْزُو جَيْشٌ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِبَيْدَاءَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ خُسِفَ بِأَوَّلِهِمْ وَآخِرِهِمْ وَلَمْ يَنْجُ أَوْسَطُهُمْ» قِيلَ فَإِنْ كَانَ فِيهِمْ مَنْ يَكْرَهُهُ؟ قَالَ «يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللهُ عَلَى مَا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'People will not cease attacking this House until an army comes to attack it. When they are in a desert plain, the first of them and the last of them will be swallowed up, and the middle of them will not escape.' It was said, 'What if there are among them those who are unwilling?' He said, 'Allah will resurrect them according to their intentions.'
