حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ أَهْلَ الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى يَرَاهُمْ مَنْ هُوَ أَسْفَلُ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا يُرَى الْكَوْكَبُ الدُّرِّيُّ فِي أُفُقِ السَّمَاءِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ مِنْهُمْ وَأَنْعِمَا»

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "The people of the highest ranks will be seen by those below them just as a brilliant star is seen on the horizon of the sky. Abu Bakr and 'Umar are among them, and what an excellent pair they are."
