حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا عَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ «لَا تَبْرَحُونَ بِخَيْرٍ مَا قَامَ عَلَيْكُمِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا» قُلْتُ لِأَبِي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ آنِفًا كَذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ أَبِي قَدْ قَالَ «كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»

✧ I was with my father while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was giving a sermon. He said, “You will not cease to be in good as long as twelve rulers stand over you.” I said to my father, “Did I hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say just now like that?” My father said, “He said, ‘All of them are from Quraysh.’”
