حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَوْرٍ
عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ {وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللهُ مُبْدِيهِ} «فِي نَفْسِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَا فِيهَا مِنْ حُبِّهِ طَلَاقَهُ إِيَّاهَا وَنِكَاحَهُ إِيَّاهَا فَأَبَى اللهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يُخْبِرَ بِالَّذِي أَخْفَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي نَفْسِهِ»

✧ From Ibn Jurayj concerning His saying {And you concealed within yourself what God was to disclose}, "In the heart of the Messenger of God ﷺ was his love for Zayd's divorcing her and his marrying her, but God insisted that He disclose what the Prophet ﷺ had concealed in his heart."
