حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا انْقَضَتْ عِدَّةُ زَيْنَبَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِزَيْدٍ «اذْكُرْهَا عَلِيَّ» قَالَ زَيْدٌ فَانْطَلَقْتُ فَقُلْتُ يَا زَيْنَبُ أَبْشِرِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَذْكُرُكِ فَقَالَتْ مَا أَنَا بِصَانِعَةٍ شَيْئًا حَتَّى أُؤَامِرَ رَبِّي فَقَامَتْ إِلَى مَسْجِدِهَا ثُمَّ نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ وَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا بِلَا إِذْنٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Zaid, "Mention it to her." Zaid said, "So I departed and said, 'O Zainab, rejoice! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sends his regards to you.' She said, 'I don't do anything until I consult my Lord.' So she went to her mosque and the Qur'an was revealed, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to her without seeking permission."
