حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي مَنِيعٍ الرُّصَافِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ
«تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ جَحْشِ بْنِ رِئَابِ بْنِ أَسَدِ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ وَأُمُّهَا أُمَيْمَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَمَّةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ» قَالَ «وَهِيَ أَوَّلُ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ تُوُفِّيَتْ»

✧ "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Zaynab bint Jahsh b. Ri'ab b. Asad b. Khuzaymah; her mother was Umaymah bint 'Abd al-Muttalib b. Hashim, the paternal aunt of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said: "She was the first of the Prophet's ﷺ wives to die."
