حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْمُسْتَمْلِي ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ثنا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْأَعْمَشَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ
أَنَّ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ اسْتَدَانَتْ ثَلَاثُمِائَةَ دِرْهَمٍ فَقِيلَ لَهَا يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ تَسْتَدِينِينَ وَلَيْسَ عِنْدَكِ؟ فَقَالَتْ نَعَمْ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنِ ادَّانَ دَيْنًا وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَقْضِيَهُ أَعَانَهُ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ»

✧ Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, took a loan of three hundred dirhams. It was said to her, "O Mother of the Believers, you take loans while you do not have [the means]?" She said, "Yes. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever incurs a debt and intends to repay it, Allah will help him with it.'"
