حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ ثنا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ خِرَاشٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَامَ بَيْنَ صَفِّ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ «يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ إِذَا سَمِعْتُنَّ أَذَانَ هَذَا الْحَبَشِيِّ وَإِقَامَتِهِ فَقُلْنَ كَمَا يَقُولُ فَإِنَّ لَكُنَّ بِكُلِّ حَرْفٍ أَلْفَ أَلْفَ دَرَجَةٍ» فَقَالَ عُمَرُ هَذَا لِلنِّسَاءِ فَمَا لِلرِّجَالِ؟ قَالَ «ضِعْفَانِ يَا عُمَرُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood between the row of men and the row of women and said: "O assembly of women, when you hear the adhan of this Abyssinian and his iqamah, say what he says, for you will have for every letter a thousand thousand degrees." 'Umar said: "This is for the women, so what is for the men?" He said: "Double, O 'Umar."
