حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَيُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ خَالَتِهِ مَيْمُونَةَ قَالَتْ
«وَضَعْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ غُسْلًا يَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ فَأَكْفَأَ الْإِنَاءَ عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى فَغَسَلَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ صَبَّ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ فَغَسَلَ فَرْجَهُ بِشِمَالِهِ ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ الْأَرْضَ فَغَسَلَهَا ثُمَّ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ صَبَّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَجَسَدِهِ ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى نَاحِيَةً فَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثُمَّ نَاوَلْتُهُ الْمِنْدِيلَ فَلَمْ يَأْخُذْهُ وَجَعَلَ يَنْفُضُ الْمَاءَ عَنْ جَسَدِهِ»

✧ She said: I placed water for the Prophet ﷺ to perform ghusl from janabah. He tilted the vessel over his right hand and washed it twice or three times, then poured water over his private part and washed it with his left hand. Then he struck his hand on the ground and washed it, then rinsed his mouth, sniffed water into his nose, washed his face and hands. Then he poured water over his head and body, then moved aside and washed his feet. Then I handed him the towel, but he did not take it and began shaking the water off his body.
