حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ثنا نَاصِحٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ ؓ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِعَلِيٍّ ؓ «مَنْ أَشْقَى ثَمُودَ» ؟ قَالَ مَنْ عَقَرَ النَّاقَةَ قَالَ «فَمَنْ أَشَقَى هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ؟» قَالَ اللهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ «قَاتِلُكَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ali ؓ: "Who was the most wretched of Thamud?" He said: "The one who hamstrung the she-camel." He said: "Then who is the most wretched of this nation?" He said: "Allah knows best." He said: "Your killer."
