حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
لَبِسْتُ قِلَادَةً فِيهَا شَعَرَاتٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَرَآنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَكَرِهَهَا فَأَعْرَضَ عَنِّي فَنَزَعْتُهَا فَقَالَ «مَا يُؤْمِنُكِ أَنْ يُقَلِّدَكِ اللهُ مَكَانَهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شَعَرَاتٍ مِنْ نَارٍ»

✧ I wore a necklace containing hairs of gold. The Prophet ﷺ saw me and disliked it, so he turned away from me. I removed it, and he said, “What assures you that God will not make you wear hairs of fire in its place on the Day of Resurrection?”
