حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو ظَفَرٍ عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ مُطَهَّرٍ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَوْفٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ثنا عَوْفٌ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ أَبِي الْمُعَذِّلِ الطُّفَاوِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ عِنْدَهَا وَفِي بَيْتِهَا ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَجَاءَتِ الْخَادِمُ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ عَلِيًّا وَفَاطِمَةَ بِالسُّدَّةِ فَقَالَ «تَنَحِّي لِي عَنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي» فَتَنَحَّيْتُ فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْبَيْتِ وَجَاءَ عَلِيٌّ وَفَاطِمَةُ وَحَسَنٌ وَحُسَيْنٌ وَهُمَا صِبْيَانِ صَغِيرَانِ فَأَخَذَ حَسَنًا وَحُسَيْنًا وَوَضَعَهُمَا فِي حِجْرِهِ وَأَخَذَ عَلِيًّا بِإِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ فَضَمَّهُ إِلَيْهِ وَغَدَقَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَطِيفَةً سَوْدَاءَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ إِلَيْكَ لَا إِلَى النَّارِ أَنَا وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِي» قَالَتْ فَنَادَيْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ وَأَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «وَأَنْتِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was with her one day in her house when a servant came and said: “Ali and Fatimah are at the door.” He said: “Move aside for me, away from my household.” So I moved to a corner of the house. Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husayn—two small boys—came in. He took Hasan and Husayn and placed them in his lap, took Ali with one hand and drew him close, and covered them with a black velvet cloth. Then he said: “O God, to You, not to the Fire—I and my household.” She said: I called out to him, saying, “And me, O Messenger of God?” He said: “And you.”
