حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ الْهَجَرِيِّ عَنْ مَحْدُوجٍ الذُّهْلِيِّ عَنْ جَسْرَةَ قَالَتْ أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَنَادَى بِأَعْلَى صَوْتِهِ «أَلَا إِنَّ هَذَا الْمَسْجِدَ لَا يَحِلُّ لِجُنُبٍ وَلَا لِحَائِضٍ إِلَّا لِلنَّبِيِّ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَفَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلِيٍّ أَلَا بَيَّنْتُ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَضِلُّوا»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ went out to the mosque and called out at the top of his voice: Verily, this mosque is not permissible for anyone in a state of major ritual impurity or a menstruating woman, except for the Prophet, his wives, Fatimah daughter of Muhammad, and Ali. Behold, I have made it clear to you lest you go astray.
