حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ
ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ هَلْ لِي مِنْ أَجْرٍ فِي بَنِي أَبِي سَلَمَةَ فَإِنِّي أُنْفِقُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَسْتُ شَارَكْتُهُمْ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ لَكِ أَجْرُ مَا أَنْفَقْتِ عَلَيْهِمْ»

✧ Umm Salamah said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, “Is there any reward for me in [caring for] the children of Abu Salamah, since I spend on them, and I am not [merely] a partner with them?” He said, “Yes, you have the reward of what you spend on them.”
