حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ سَاهِمُ الْوَجْهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَالِي أَرَاكَ سَاهِمَ الْوَجْهِ؟ قَالَ «الدَّنَانِيرُ الَّتِي أَتَوْنَا بِهَا نُسِّيتُهَا فِي خَصْمِ فِرَاشِي نُسِّيتُ أَنْ أَقْسِمَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ أُمْسِيَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me with a distressed face. I said, “O Messenger of Allah, why do I see you distressed?” He said, “The dinars that they brought to us—I forgot them in the corner of my bed. I forgot to distribute them before evening.”
