حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ قَالَ
دَخَلَ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَقَالُوا يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَدِّثِينَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ كَانَتْ عَلَانِيَتُهُ وَسِرُّهُ سَوَاءً ثُمَّ نَدِمَتْ فَقَالَتْ أَفْشَيْتُ سِرَّ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ أَخْبَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ «أَحْسَنْتِ»

✧ Some of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ entered upon Umm Salamah and said: "O Mother of the Believers, tell us about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." She said: "His public and private conduct were the same." Then she regretted it and said: "I have disclosed a secret of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." So when he entered, she informed him, and he said: "You have done well."
