حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى أَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

«صَلَّيْنَا عَلَى ابْنِ الدَّحْدَاحِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَلَمَّا فَرَغْنَا مِنْهُ أَتَى رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِفَرَسٍ حَصَانٍ فَرَكِبَهُ حِينَ رَجَعَ مِنَ الْجِنَازَةِ»

✧ We prayed over Ibn al-Dahdah, a man from the Ansar, and when we had finished with him, a man brought a stallion to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he mounted it when he returned from the funeral.
