حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ السِّرَاجُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَيْفِيٍّ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حَلَفَ أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلَ عَلَى بَعْضِ أَهْلِهِ شَهْرًا فَلَمَّا مَضَى تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ يَوْمًا غَدَا عَلَيْهِنَّ أَوْ رَاحَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ حَلَفْتَ أَنْ لَا تَدْخُلَ شَهْرًا فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الشَّهْرَ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ يَوْمًا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ swore not to enter upon some of his wives for a month. When twenty-nine days had passed, he went to them in the morning or in the evening. It was said to him: “O Prophet of God, you swore not to enter for a month.” He said: “The month is twenty-nine days.”
