حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثنا طَاهِرُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ نِزَارٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ ابْنُ مَرْجَانَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ
أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ إِنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَتْ تُهَرَاقُ الدِّمَاءَ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَإِنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ أَمْرِهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لِتَنْظُرْ عَدَدَ الْأَيَّامِ وَاللَّيَالِيَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَحِيضُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَكُونَ بِهَا الدَّمُ الَّذِي كَانَ وَقَدْرَهُنَّ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ فَلْتَتْرُكِ الصَّلَاةَ قَدْرَ ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا جَاوَزَتْ ذَلِكَ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ ثُمَّ لِتَسْتَثْفِرْ بِثَوْبِهَا وَلْتُصَلِّ»

✧ She said: There was a woman who had prolonged bleeding during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, and Umm Salamah asked the Prophet ﷺ about her situation. The Prophet ﷺ said: Let her note the number of days and nights she used to menstruate before the bleeding that she has now, and their portion of the month, and leave off prayer for that amount. When that passes, she should perform ghusl, then bind a cloth over her private part and pray.
