حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ
«قُتِلَ طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ ؓ يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ فِي جُمَادَى سَنَةَ سِتٍّ وَثَلَاثِينَ وَسِنُّهُ اثْنَتَانِ وَخَمْسُونَ سَنَةً أَوْ أَرْبَعٌ وَخَمْسُونَ سَنَةً وَالزُّبَيْرُ أَسَنُّ مِنْهُ وَيُكَنَّى أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ»
Translation

✧ “Talhah b. ‘Ubayd Allah ؓ was killed on the Day of the Camel in Jumada of the year thirty-six, and his age was fifty-two or fifty-four years. Al-Zubayr was older than him, and he was given the kunyah Abu Muhammad.”
