حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَدِينِيُّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ عَنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ
أُمُّ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ الْخَيْرِ بِنْتُ صَخْرِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ وَهَلَكَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَوَرِثَهُ أَبَوَاهُ جَمِيعًا وَكَانَا قَدْ أَسْلَمَا وَمَاتَتْ أُمُّ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَبْلَ أَبِيهِ

✧ The mother of Abu Bakr ؓ was called Umm al-Khayr bt. Sakhr b. Amir. Abu Bakr died and both his parents inherited from him; they had both embraced Islam. Abu Bakr's mother died before his father.
