حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَبَّادِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنْ كَانَ لَفِي أَوَّلِ مَا نَهَانِي عَنْهُ رَبِّي وَعَهِدَ إِلَيَّ فِيهِ بَعْدَ عِبَادَةِ الْأَوْثَانِ وَشُرْبِ الْخَمْرِ مُلَاحَاةُ الرِّجَالِ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Verily, one of the first things my Lord forbade me and enjoined me to avoid, after the worship of idols and the drinking of wine, was quarrelling with men.
