حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ قَالَتْ

لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّا قَدْ تَحَدَّثْنَا أَنَّكَ نَاكِحٌ دُرَّةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَ «أَعَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ؟ لَوْ لَمْ أَنْكِحْ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ مَا حَلَّتْ لِي إِنَّ أَبَاهَا أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ»

✧ To the Messenger of God ﷺ: "We have been talking that you are to marry Durrah bint Abi Salamah." He said: "On top of Umm Salamah? Even if I had not married Umm Salamah, she would not be lawful to me, for her father is my brother through breastfeeding."
